As we reflect on another unforgettable year, we’re excited to share our top ten weddings, as voted on by the Ash Events team. With so many incredible celebrations brought to life throughout the year, narrowing this list down was no easy task. Each wedding was carefully considered by our team members, who selected the events that stood out most for their creativity, thoughtful design, meaningful moments, and overall impact. From bold color palettes and unique guest experiences to timeless elegance and unforgettable destinations, these weddings truly represent the heart of Ash Events. Every celebration on this list holds a special place with our team, and we’re thrilled to count them down, starting with number ten and ending with our top wedding of the year.

At number five, Hannah and Kylie’s wedding at The Waverly in Charleston, South Carolina was the ultimate collision of Southern charm and Vegas style flair, and a celebration we were especially honored to be part of from the very beginning. We first met the couple when Kylie officiated another wedding we planned, and later had the joy of helping Hannah plan her proposal, making their wedding day feel even more full circle. Hosted at The Waverly and beautifully captured by Heide Bee Photography, the celebration proved that bold creativity and timeless elegance can exist side by side. Kylie stunned in a lace gown with sheer sleeves, while Hannah made a striking statement in a satin gown with a deep plunge neckline finished with a matching neck scarf, with both looks sourced from Verita Bridal, seen closer here! Their all white design palette was elevated with fresh pops of green, brought to life through lush florals by Pop and Palette featuring white roses, hydrangeas, calla lilies, and layered greenery throughout the space.
The night was filled with unforgettable moments and high energy experiences that kept guests entertained at every turn. A mobile charcuterie cart from Coastal Boards and Bites, a roaming food truck by The Motley Chew alongside catering from El Kiosko Mexicana Cuisine, and thoughtful rentals from Event Works and Pour Advice created an atmosphere that felt immersive and interactive. Guests signed a playful playing card guestbook before being wowed by a show stopping drag show performance from Medusa Chaos, making the evening feel equal parts glamorous and electric. At number four, Caitlin and Brett’s September wedding at Britton Manor in La Grange, North Carolina was the perfect blend of vintage Hollywood glamour and modern pops of color, made even more impressive by the fact that the entire celebration came together in just six months. Set against the timeless backdrop of Britton Manor and beautifully captured by Louis Fort Co. alongside Films by Phillip, the day felt effortlessly stylish from start to finish. Caitlin stunned in a show stopping two piece gown sourced all the way from Australia from Blanche Bridal, featuring a corset top with intricate lace and sequin detailing that shimmered throughout the day, while her bridesmaids brought bold energy in mix matched fuchsia dresses. Brett opted for a dark gray suit with a black bow tie, while his groomsmen complemented the look in classic black and white tuxedos with black bow ties from OMJ Clothing.
The ceremony was anchored by striking floral arrangements from Brushed by Bec Florals, showcasing shades of pink, red, white, and green with cascading greenery and dramatic white and red orchids framing the altar. Inside the reception space, rentals, lighting, and specialty linens in the shades Daphne Green and Dupioni Chartreuse from Curated Events Raleigh set the stage for a celebration filled with personality, featuring colored candles, butterfly plates, and a dynamic DJ and saxophone duo from Active DJ that kept the energy high all night long. One of the most unforgettable moments came as a nod to Caitlin and Brett’s love for Steve Aoki, when they surprised guests with a classic Aoki style cake throw aimed at the best man. Fun, whimsical, and undeniably vogue worthy, this wedding proved that a short planning timeline can still result in a celebration that feels elevated, intentional, and completely unforgettable, as reflected here!

Our top wedding of the year was, without question, Sarah and Hunter’s unforgettable celebration in Tuscany. Married in August at the stunning Marchese Estate in Italy, with the venue, catering, rentals, lighting, and bakery all seamlessly provided on site, their wedding felt like a true European dream. Sarah wore a romantic lace gown with added sleeves from Gown Boutique of Charleston, while her bridesmaids complemented the setting in rich burgundy dresses from Revelry. Hunter and his groomsmen kept things classic in black and white tuxedos, with Hunter standing out in a burgundy bow tie that tied the palette together beautifully. See the transformation yourself!
Photographed by Beatrice Moricci, the ceremony unfolded against the rolling Italian countryside, featuring an aisle lined with white rose petals leading to pillars of varying heights topped with lush arrangements of white hydrangeas, white roses, and calla lilies accented by cascading red and green greenery. The celebration continued in the venue’s courtyard for the reception, where parasols, authentic Italian cuisine, and a traditional Millefoglie cake created an atmosphere that felt effortlessly elegant and straight out of Italian Vogue.
