Crayton and Brenton’s wedding at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club brought timeless Southern elegance together with the warmth and personality of an intimate garden party. From a ceremony surrounded by the natural beauty of Caledonia to a tented reception layered with greenery, warm lighting, and residential-inspired details, every element of the day felt intentional, welcoming, and unmistakably personal to the couple.
The design can best be described as an Elevated Southern Garden Party, blending refined garden elegance with the warmth of an intimate dinner party. A layered palette of olive and sage green, soft ivory, and warm gold set the tone for the celebration.
Inside the reception tent, patterned linens and warm wood chairs were paired with olive velvet lounge furniture, creating a space that felt collected rather than overly formal. Brass tabletop lamps cast a soft glow across the tables, while crystal glassware, gold flatware, scalloped plates, and thoughtfully selected details brought an elevated finish to the design.
Crayton’s bridal look was the perfect example of modern simplicity. She wore the Iman gown by AMSALE from Maddison Row South, a liquid satin design with a high square neckline, fluid bias cut, and striking low open back. With no need for elaborate embellishment, the silhouette and movement of the satin became the statement.
Rather than selecting one dress for her bridesmaids, Crayton chose a mix-and-match approach, allowing each woman to find her own gown within a palette of sage, olive, and soft green. The combination of solids, delicate prints, varying textures, and individual silhouettes gave the bridal party a collected, organic look that played beautifully into the garden setting.
Brenton and his groomsmen brought a more traditional element to the wedding party in black tuxedos, white shirts, and black bow ties. Their sharp, monochromatic attire balanced the varied greens of the bridesmaids and kept the overall wedding party style polished and classic.
Before the ceremony even began, Crayton incorporated a thoughtful detail just for her bridesmaids. She ordered custom embroidered linen champagne flute tags in green and white, personalized with each bridesmaid’s initials.
The champagne flute markers were a small but meaningful addition to their morning together and tied beautifully into the green and white palette that would continue throughout the wedding day.
The ceremony embraced the natural beauty and Southern charm of Caledonia, with lush white florals and greenery by RSG Event Designs enhancing the setting rather than competing with it.
Music was an especially meaningful part of the ceremony. The Strand Strings performed a collection of timeless selections, including The Prayer, Moon River, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, and On Eagle’s Wings. The live strings created a romantic soundtrack as Crayton and Brenton officially began their next chapter together.
RSG Event Designs carried the garden-inspired vision throughout the celebration with lush arrangements of white blooms and layered greenery. Roses, hydrangeas, calla lilies, delicate textural florals, and cascading greenery created an organic look that felt as though it belonged naturally within Caledonia’s surroundings.
Inside the tent, those florals were layered among olive velvet lounge seating, patterned linens, warm candlelight, and softly glowing tabletop lamps. The combination gave the reception a residential quality, creating the feeling of an elegant dinner party brought outdoors.
Oh Darling Details completed the design through custom stationery and signage. Scalloped green menus rested at each place setting, while mirrored gold signage, bar details, and coordinating pieces carried the green, ivory, and gold palette into even the smallest moments of the reception.
Crayton and Brenton skipped the traditional wedding cake in favor of something a little more memorable: a gelato cart from Oh So Gelato for their guests to enjoy throughout the reception.
Gold menus placed on the tables allowed everyone to browse the flavors ahead of time, and even the names were personalized to the couple. Guests could choose from Doug’s Golden Delight (Salted Caramel Pecan), Par-Tee for Two (Chocolate Hazelnut), The Penguin Power Play (Pistachio), The Terrible Towel Twist (Limoncello Sorbet), Boo’s One Lil’ Wedding Decision (Fresh Mint Chocolate), From YinZ to Y’all (Wedding Cake, Vegan), and The Steel City (Stracciatella).
It was a playful alternative to cake that turned dessert into another experience for their guests.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered beneath the tent as Crayton’s father welcomed everyone with a heartfelt toast. A highlight of the evening was Crayton and Brenton’s choreographed first dance to a live rendition of “On My Soul” by Bruno Mars, performed by The Heather Hayes Experience. From there, the band kept the dance floor full and the celebration going late into the night, bringing the perfect close to a day that felt unmistakably Crayton and Brenton.
